Meet Alexa Kapp!
Alexa is a graduate of Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre with certifications in Teaching, Training and Equine Massage. She believes in working the horse using pressures from body language instead of just spurs or a whip. The horse realizes that she speaks his language and then learns that he is safe when beside her. From there, she can advance and train the horse.
Her number one priority is safety. So she focuses on the rider’s position – to be centered on the horse. She believes the student needs to learn the basics-Relaxation, Balance and Following the Motion in order to be safe and learn to ride the horse.
Alexa has 20 years of varied riding experiences, competitions, and education. She provides training and lessons including, but not limited to, Natural Horsemanship, Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, Eventing, Gaited (Paso Finos), Western, Trail/Obstacle, and Reining. She is equally skilled at working with the rider and horse as a team.
