Boarding

Horse of Course Stables offers “full” board for $550/month.  The horse lives in an individual paddock.  This allows individualized care. Your horse can still have friends over the fence but we can cater to your horse’s individual needs. All have access to a shelter, stall, or shade sail.  Horses are fed grain/feed twice a day and hay 2-3 times per day.  Alfalfa can be fed for additional cost. Paddocks and water troughs cleaned regularly. Full board also includes a blanketing service when it’s under 32 degrees and will fly spray and feed supplements. We have a couple pastures as well. $500/month, horses fed grain twice a day, coastal round bale supplied as free choice hay. Knowledgable owner lives on site. Come set up a tour of our beautiful facility.

Horse Training

Alexa uses natural horsemanship to start the communication and develop a relationship with the horse.  Under saddle the same principles apply.  She then also uses her centered riding methods and basic classical dressage to the horse no matter what breed or discipline.  Therefore she trains for many disciplines: dressage, hunter, jumper, reining , and gaited horses, such as Paso Fino and the Tennessee Walker.

Birthday Parties

Call to Book a Party!  Let your kids have the best birthday of their dreams! We have a large covered carport with a fridge and freezer, as well as a bathroom. Time slots are 2.5 hours, and we provide a decorated horse for the riders to have what is called a pony ride. A pony ride can be on a horse, it’s just a term for being lead! Our horse Sparky, is the best horse for the job!  Themes such as Unicorn and Dinosaur are available at your request! Prices start at $300!  Contact us for more information and how we can help!

Horsemanship and Riding Lessons

Horsemanship Lessons are $75 for a private 55 minute lesson.  Monthly packages are available $220 for 4 lessons done within a month.  Lessons are taught by the owner, Alexa Kapp.  She has certifications through Meredith Manor in teaching.  Not only will students learn how to ride, but they will also learn how to develop a relationship with the horse by learning how to groom, tack, free lunge, heed and much more!  Meet our lesson horses below.
